Tod’s Handbags began with the family making shoes in their basement in the 1920’s, and later expanding their handmade shoes to stores in the 1970’s. Mr. Della Valle launched Tods famous signature shoe in the late 70’s with the pebble bottom. It was in 1997 that Diego Della Valle expanded the company into handbags.
