In 1918 Fendi began as a leather and fur store in Rome, Italy created by Adele Casagrande . The name became Fendi seven years later when Adlele married Edoardo Fendi. In the 1960’s they hired on Karl Lagerfeld as a designer. It was during this time that Karl designed the famous double F logo known as the “Zucca” print.
